How to Apply

MScSED & Diploma Applicants: 

Applications are open for entry to 2018/2019 academic year.  Course quotas will be reviewed at specified times during the application cycle. As many courses fill up quickly, you are advised to apply as early as possible. Candidates who do not have their final degree marks available may be made a conditional (provisional) offer. 

Review dates:          1 March 2018,          1 April 2018,          1 June 2018,          1 July 2018         

Apply online through the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) using the following PAC codes:

  • GYE04 for MScSED
  • GYE16 for Diploma (Software Engineering)

In order to complete your PAC online application you will need to:

  • Enter your personal details
  • Enter your previous qualifications
  • Include all relevant work experience
  • Include names and contact details of 2 referees
  • Submit your birth certificate (original or certified copy)
  • Submit supporting paper documentation with evidence of your qualifications to date, e.g. transcripts of examination results, English language competency (if required)
  • The application fee is €45. Payment may be made by:
  • Credit Card (MasterCard/Visa) or debit card (Laser)
  • Bank Draft or Bank Transfer (payments are subject to additional administration charge of €5)

In order to complete your CPD online application you will need to apply 6-weeks before the start-date for the module you are interested in.  Please check the Timetable on the CPD Launchpad for module start-dates and please provide the follwing information on your application:
