Fees & Funding

 Note: These fees are per annum in 2020-21.  Fees are subject to change

Continuous Professional Development (CPD)  The EU Student fee is €585 per module in academic year 2020-21.  The Non-EU Student fee is €640 per 5 ECTs module and €695 per 10 ECTs module in academic year 2020-21.

 How and when to pay fees

General information about fee-payment (including whether payment by installment is permitted or not) is available on the NUIG Fees Office Webpage.  As the NUIG fees office collect the fees for the Masters and Diploma, please contact the This email address is being protected from spambots. Fee Scholarships & fUNDING

If you are in receipt of Company / other funding - please follow these steps;

  1. When completing your application ensure to choose Yes when answering the funding question.  Yes means that you are being fully funded by your employer/sponsor and will be required to submit proof of this funding to your application. Choosing No means, you will be personally funding the course.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to request an external funding / employer funding invoice, please include the below information in the email; Your application/student number, your name, your course title and course code.  Attach a copy of your funding confirmation letter and include the total invoice value, the company name, contact details, company address.  Then once registration is completed the relevant Invoice will then be processed.

Centre for Adult Learning & Professional Development Scholarship:

The Centre for Adult Learning & Professional Development in NUI Galway offers a scholarship scheme for unemployed applicants which subvents up to 30% of course fees. This scheme is designed for students who have recently become unemployed or on reduced working hours. Further details are provided on the application form linked below. Applicants must be in receipt of an offer of a place on an NUI Galway Adult Learning & Professional Development course for consideration and must subsequently register with NUI Galway.

 Next Level Skillnet Funding:

This course is approved by Next Level Skillnet for a fee subsidy of up to 40% for students whose company is a member of the Next Level Skillnet Network. There are also free places available for students who are unemployed and meet the criteria set out by Next Level Skillnet.
